After hundreds of hours of R&D and thousands of miles of real world on and off-road testing, ICON engineers have developed products that provide a true performance upgrade over the factory components found on the 2021-2025 Ford F-150 Raptor. The Gen. 3 Raptor is faster and more advanced than its older brother – with an all-new 4-link and coil sprung rear suspension system with lots of performance potential and new technology introduced both on the side of safety and performance. In typical ICON fashion, the new Raptor was pushed to its limits in stock trim to build a list of performance “needs and wants”. After this process, the ICON engineering team began to go over the truck front to rear to identify any opportunities to overcome the limits of the OE suspension and achieve the gains laid out in the previous phases of R&D.
- Adjustable 3.0” diameter coilovers yield 1-3” of front lift height
- ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology allows for in vehicle adjustment of compression damping settings and active adjustment via the ICON Intelligent Control (IIC)
- ICON’s multi-stage hydraulic coilover “Bump Zone” exponentially increases bottom-out resistance in the last 40% of compression travel
- Finned aluminum reservoirs provide generous oil volume and increased surface area for enhanced cooling properties and consistent damping
- Billet aluminum front upper control arms feature patented Delta Joint Pro (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) allowing maximum wheel travel without binding
- Adjustable control arms correct suspension geometry and offer quick, precise, on-vehicle adjustment for both caster and camber
- Triple rate rear coil springs with ICON-engineered droop, ride, and overload rates yield 1" rear lift height over stock with approximately 300lbs of additional weight in the rear
- 3.0” diameter RXT 3-tube bypass rear shocks with 3.0” diameter finned remote reservoirs
- Unique side-mounted rear shock upper eyelets allow for increased travel while utilizing factory mounting location
- Application specific shock length designed to be paired with ICON rear coil springs provides up to 17" of rear wheel travel
- Solenoid mounts bypass factory electronic shock system, keeping OE solenoid coils connected to prevent error codes
- Increased wheel travel and vehicle specific valving provides unrivaled ride quality across a wide range of on and off-road use
- Superior low speed control reduces body roll and increases on-road stability
- High quality ICON-engineered coil springs are guaranteed for life against sagging or breakage
- Fully serviceable shock absorber design allows for revalves, rebuilds, and an immeasurable service life
